What can you put into your Skip bin?
Any dry non putrescible (food waste/organic matter) waste can be placed in the bin.


What you cannot put into your skip bin?
Food, putrescibles, chemicals, liquid paint (dry paint in old cans is acceptable), tyres, car batteries, gas cylinders and asbestos (unless the bin has been provided, specifically for asbestos removal and has been prepared in accordance with Work Cover requirements).


What do you do with prohibited or hazardous waste?
Through waste industry experience and contacts, DATS Skip Bins can provide you with advice with regard to the disposal of specialized or hazardous waste.


How long can I keep my skip bin?
Normal hire periods are for up to 7 days. You can call DATS Skip Bins to collect your skip at any time within this period. Arrangements can be negotiated with clients who require an extended hire period.


How should I pay?
COD customers can pay by credit card, cash, cheque or electronic funds transfer (EFT).


What if I have a difficult to access site?
Call 1300 00 DATS and ask for an obligation-free advice. If necessary, a free site inspection will be arranged.


What happens to my waste once it has been collected?
All waste is taken to a DATS waste sorting facility or an approved and licensed external facility for the purpose of waste sorting and resource recovery.


How much notice do I need to give when ordering a skip bin?
Same day delivery is possible. However, we suggest bins should be booked the day before to assist with more accurate truck running times.


Do I live in the DATS Skip Bins priority service area?
DATS Skip Bins provides waste management services to the entire Sydney metropolitan area.


Can I Trust DATS Skip Bins to provide a good service?
Absolutely. The friendly team at the office is always ready to take your call or enquiry and advise regarding your waste management requirements.
